Everbuild Mammoth Aluminium Tape is a professional-grade sealing tape for sauna vapour control layer installations where specification, heat resistance and documented performance matter. In any foil VCL system, long-term reliability depends not just on the foil membrane, but on the tape used to seal laps, joints and penetrations.
Many generic aluminium tapes appear similar, yet are sold with limited technical data and without the published performance values that specifiers and contractors rely on. We do not recommend using tapes of unknown quality for such a critical element as the Vapour Control Layer.
Available in widths of 50mm and 75mm with a roll length of 45m, Everbuild Mammoth Aluminium Tape has a 0.035mm aluminium layer and a 0.065mm total thickness, with 20 N/25 mm peel adhesion, 37.5 N/25 mm tensile strength, and 3% elongation at break. It is heat resistant to 180°C, flame retardant to Class O, and highly moisture resistant.
