SHP sauna bench profile board is a premium bench timber designed for sauna benches, backrests, and other interior finishing details where comfort and appearance both matter. Its smooth surfaced faces and soft eased edges create a clean, refined look while also providing a pleasant seating surface in use. The SHP profile is a classic sauna bench board design, valued for its simple, timeless appearance and its versatility across both traditional and contemporary sauna interiors.
In addition to bench tops, SHP boards are also well suited to backrests, bench fascias, skirting, front aprons, step treads, duckboard-style platforms, and other non-structural interior sauna joinery details. Their neat profile makes them a strong choice wherever a coordinated, high-quality finish is wanted throughout the sauna space. SHP bench boards are commonly offered in widths such as 90 mm, 120 mm, 140 mm, and 160 mm, depending on timber species and supplier range.
Suitable for interior sauna applications only, SHP bench boards should be installed onto a properly designed support frame using appropriate sauna-grade fixings and correct spacing for ventilation and drainage. Matching cladding boards, trims, and installation accessories are available separately.
