Tacwise 140/10 galvanised staples are ideally suited for securing aluminium Vapour Control Layers during sauna construction. Manufactured from galvanised steel for improved corrosion resistance, these fine wire staples provide strong holding performance while minimising the risk of tearing or damaging the foil membrane during installation.
The wide crown design helps distribute pressure evenly across the Vapour Control Layer during installation. However, care should always be taken to ensure the staples are not tearing or damaging the foil, and the stapler driving force should be adjusted accordingly to suit the material and substrate. It is recommended that all staple lines are subsequently sealed with aluminium foil tape to eliminate any potential path for humidity or vapour penetration through the Vapour Control Layer.
These staples are also ideally suited for securing ThermoAspen Cladding Clips when used with a compatible 1013J stapler. The 140/10 format allows the staples to be accurately driven through the dedicated fixing holes in the clips, providing fast, consistent and secure installation of ThermoAspen cladding systems while significantly reducing installation time compared to manual fixing methods.
